Are you interested in watching birds in Jeju, Korea? I am a member of ¡°Jeju Birdwatcher Group.¡± We go outside every month and more to watch birds in Jeju island. My group is composed of excellent bird watchers who studied ornithology in university, who are making documentary films on birds to provide them to TV broadcasting companies, or who are working for newspapers as photographers. If you are interested in watching birds, you can join us. As many members of my group have their own cars, we have many rooms for you to travel outside. And as many of the members know a lot about nature, geography, history of Jeju island, and as I can translate it for you, it would be a good opportunity for you to learn more about this island. Most importantly, you will enjoy going outside, breathing fresh air, and watching wonderful birds. My group will hold a workshop on birds in Jeju. 5 members will give presentations on the birds they saw in 2005. The event will be held 3~5 PM, on Saturday, February 18, 2006 at Halla Sumokwon (Halla Arboretum) in Nohyung-dong. The presentations will be given in Korean language, but I can translate them for you, too. My group, unfortunately, has no office. And though my group has a website (www.birdsinjeju.com), it is written in Korean. But you can contact me for more information. Thanks for reading.
